Build a boomilever (cantilever) that mounts to a testing wall and holds a load at a required distance with high structural efficiency.

Study plan

  1. Read dimensional and material constraints carefully before cutting.
  2. Sketch load path: tension vs compression members.
  3. Build light prototypes; iterate after each test to failure.
  4. Track efficiency scores and failure modes in a logbook.

Tips

Joints and alignment matter as much as wood choice. Photograph each iteration.
